The Steelers set a team record with 10 sacks of rookie QB David Klingler in his NFL debut. While Klingler is running for his life, Barry Foster (25 carries, 102 yds, 2 TD) runs his way into Pittsburgh's record book by surpassing Franco's 1975 single-season record for rushing yards. Pittsburgh's special teams chip in as well when Charles Davenport scoops up a loose ball on a botched fake punt attempt by Cinci on their opening drive and takes it 34 yds for an easy TD.
