1995 Steelers 23 vs Lions 20
I'll never forget the image of my main man Rod Woodson going down with a torn right anterior cruciate ligament as he tries to take down Barry Sanders in the 1st quarter of this season opener. To make matters worse, Neil O'Donnell suffers a fracture to his right pinky finger shortly thereafter.
Somehow, the Steelers hang on to win on Norm Johnson's 31-yard field goal as time expires. Tomzcak (who is picked off 3 times) takes a blindside shot in this thriller that is unbelievable (definite highlight material for years to come) but comes back to direct Pittsburgh's game-winning, 12-play, 67-yard drive.
