 1987 Steelers 21 vs Colts 7
 The third and final strike game of the '87 season. John Stallworth crosses the picket line and makes the 500th catch of his career, a nifty grab of one of Steve Bono's 2 TD passes. Earnest Jackson also crosses the picket line and proceeds to pound the replacement Colts, piling up 134 yds on 24 carries as the Steelers out-rush Indy by a 252-75 margin. Dave Trout misses (of course) his only FG attempt of the day. Meanwhile, the COlts turn the ball over 5 times, including 3 INTs by QB Blair Kiel (who?). |
