1984 Steelers 20 at Bengals 22
The Steelers build a 13-3 halftime lead behind a ball-control offense but can't hold off the Bengals' late rally. Louis Lipps' 36-yd reverse TD puts Pittsburgh ahead 20-15 early in the 4th, but backup QB Turk Schonert comes off the bench for an injured Ken Anderson to lead Cinci’s game-winning drive, hitting Cris Collinsworth for gains of 24 and 17 yds before Larry Kinnebrew scores from 3 yds out with 35 seconds left. Mark Malone’s final pass is picked off at midfield, sealing the loss. Malone throws for 150 yds but is intercepted three times. John Stallworth catches seven passes for 76 yds, surpassing 1,000 yds for the season.
