1980 Steelers 26 at Browns 27
A slew of injuries and a missed PAT by Matt Bahr prove fatal as Pittsburgh loses a third consecutive game in which they largely outplay their opponent.
The Steelers nearly pull this one off despite Bradshaw, Swann, Stallworth, Franco, and Lambert all sitting out due to injuries.
Cliff Stoudt throws for over 300 yds and fills in surprisingly well, leading Pittsburgh to a 26-14 lead after 3 quarters. But a late back-breaking interception by Stoudt combined with a brilliant 4th quarter comeback effort by Brian Sipe (349 yds and 4 TDs) are simply too much for the ailing Steelers as the Kardiac Kids pull off the upset and drop Pittsburgh, who had once been 4-1, to .500. Oh, those damn injuries!
